What we’ve been reading

Here are some of the books that the OPLbery club has been reading, and the club members opinions of the books:

Elliot read Wonder, which he said was “very remarkable.” Maggie added that is “has something extra special,” and Giancarlo said “the message is very moving.” He liked the different perspectives and thought it was a “really great blend of different feelings.”

Skyler and Melissa both read Son. Skyer thought it was “really good,”  and Melissa said it is “quick moving” and “the characters feel real.” Luis, who just joined, has just begun reading Son.

Skyer also read Almost Home. She thought it was okay and thinks other OPLbery members should read it.

Maggie started to read What Came From the Stars. She thought it was interesting but didn’t like it enough to want to finish it.

Kevin has just begun Liar and Spy. He wants to finish it and will report back at our next meeting.

Brian read Cabinet of Earths. He said it was science fiction and mystery. He liked the “theoretical science,” although the book is “not completely his type.” Andy is another new member who has just started reading Cabinet of Earths.

Lucas read Invisible Tower. He thought it was “excellent” and would be a good read “for people who like video games or myths.” He also read Three Times Lucky, which he didn’t really like.

Brandon started Three Times Lucky, but he doesn’t want to finish it. It is a mystery, and he doesn’t like mysteries.

Elliot read Last of the Gullivers. He liked it and said the end leaves you hanging, so perhaps there will be another book to follow.

Ralph, another new member, just began to read The False Prince.
